Q: Do I need to have a pool to host a mermaid ?
You do not need to have a pool to host a mermaid, however without a pool, our swimming mermaid will not be able to move around much and we request a place for her to sit through the event to entertain your guests. If you would like a mermaid that can move around we suggest you select the walking mermaid character.
Q: Is there a point when you no longer offer outdoor parties and events?
We do not offer swimming mermaid parties during the fall and winter months unless the pool is indoors. Events and parties may be canceled and rescheduled in the event of extreme weather that prevents the entertainer from doing their job.
Q: When do you offer parties/events?
We offer parties during the weekends, if you have an event during the week or on a holiday please contact us through the contact form and we will try our best to assist you.
Q: What time do you recommend I have the entertainer arrive?
I suggest the entertainer arrives 10-15 minutes before the event guests, this will allow Momo to change into her costume and get into the pool. Alternatively she can arrive 15 -20 minutes after the event guests have arrived. it is asked that each customer provide a location out of view of event guests for Momo to get ready.
Q: How do I book an event?
Events are booked on a first come first served basis, please fill out the contact form and we will book you as best as we can. (Summer events are very busy for our swimming mermaid, we suggest you book in advance to ensure your selected date is available)
Q: What forms of payment do you accept? How do I pay?
Currently we only accept cash with a Paypal down deposit to hold your spot in our calendars. Upon arrival of payment is to be given in full to the performer before costume changes are made. Please provide payment out of view of event guests to keep the magic alive.
Q: Where are your parties held?
We bring the parties to you meaning the customer has to provide for the venue (pay for, reserve, etc), please provide us with a complete address, we have the right to turn down any venues that our entertainers do not feel safe attending.
Q: Should I tip the entertainer?
You don't have to but if you loved your event and thought your entertainer did a great job it is recommended.
Q: Can I leave during my party/event?
No, we request that you remain at the event or party at all times. We are entertainers not baby sitters, Momo is free to leave any event if the customer vacates the event for more than 20 minutes without supplying adult supervision to guests, if this is to happen there will not be a refund for the event.
Q: Do you offer mermaid tails for the guests?
No, we do not provide mermaid tails for the guests as a safety precaution. Customers are more than welcome to provide their own tails to guests.
